MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL ONE-KEY 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 8-1/4 in. Table Saw Kit | Review

Let's be real. A table saw in the shop or on a job site makes a world of a difference. You can't rip a 2x4 or plywood with a miter saw. We recently brought in the MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL ONE-KEY 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 8-1/4 in. Table Saw Kit to the shop. It felt so good outside the other day that we decided to bring the shop outside for the day. This won't be the only reason we will use this table saw, bringing it to do installs is going to be huge! The first time we cut with the saw, Dylan turned to me and said, "This cuts like butter" with a kiddish smirk on his face. You could tell he was really excited to have this in the shop now.

Now let's get down to business. The specs.

The Milwaukee M18 Fuel One-Key Table Saw Kit delivers the power of a 15Amp corded saw with 24½" rip capacity for ripping sheets of plywood or sheathing. Within this kit you get a 12.0AH battery, charger, blade, guard & miter gauge! And all these accessories have a dedicated lock-in place under the table for storage, this is portable after all!  You also get a push stick that is easily stored in the fence and a wrench for single wrench blade change. These as well as a riving knife is stored on the saw as well. The M18 battery is fully compatible with the M18 System, featuring over 175+ tools! So, if you are already part of the M18 system you are good to go!

You would think that a table saw with all these accessories and features would be pretty heavy, but this kit is actually 45 pounds, so not to ridiculous to move around. I (Molly) can carry this around pretty easily and I'm 5'5" without manly muscles. One day maybe lol!

The table saw fence is nifty where it's clipped into the rails and you turn a knob either left or right to move the fence down the rails. That way it's not prone to falling off the table. The other real cool thing about this saw is the One-Key system. This allows you to connect the saw, not the battery to your smart phone or tablet. This can track the location of the saw, how the tool is being used and also has its own security where you can lock the tool from use from your phone! That's so cool! This all can be done on an empty battery charge as well.

Overall, we believe this is a great job site/contractor saw or even a shop saw if you don't have the space for a cabinet saw. It's got all the accessories you could possibly need right there onboard, other than a stand which you can purchase and still be under the price of a full size cabinet saw. We are going to get some good use out of this saw through our installs we do around our town.
