Ridgid Octane 18V Impact Wrench Review

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot.

Honestly, we never thought we needed this, but MAN. When you actually need an impact wrench, this is totally the one you want. The Ridgid Octane Impact Wrench is so powerful! I had to get new tires put on my car, so this tool was the one for the job. Before we got this tool, poor Dylan was putting everything into getting the bolts off with just a wrench. Those things are no joke. So needless to say, he is very happy with this tool! Let's get into this Ridgid Octane Impact Wrench Review

Let's get into specifics. This Impact Wrench has adjustable speed settings, so depending on your application, you can set your speed accordingly. The chuck is 1/2", so pretty standard for sockets. Also, this comes with a belt clip you can attach, so perfect for on-the-job.

Now, let's talk about power. This impact delivers 485 ft.-lbs. of fastening torque and 620 ft.-lbs. of breakaway torque, so this will be about your mid range impact as far as price and power.

This tool does have an auto mode, and all that does is prevent from over tightening because nobody has time for loosening a stuck bolt.

Oh! I forgot to mention that this impact wrench is Octane! If you haven't jumped out the octane train yet, you need to! Rigid has pretty much every tool and battery now that is branded as Octane. This means that the tool and battery talk to each other and give out the right amount of power needed for an application. This keeps your tools lasting longer and also the battery life.

Go ahead and check this tool out in stores at The Home Depot, or online here! Thank you for reading this Ridgid Octane Impact Wrench review! We hope you learned some new info.
