Ryobi BATTERY POWERED Soldering Station | Review

Did you read that title? Battery powered...like what?! A battery powered soldering station, crazy. This Ryobi ONE+™ Soldering Station is the perfect introductory level tool for getting into soldering. Honestly, it's even good for the pros and major hobbyists. It's pretty small to easily get tucked away and doesn't take up a ton of space in the work surface. This is definitely a Dylan tool right here. He loves working with wires and electronics, so he is, and will, get a ton of use out of this.

So when you first turn it on, there is a light that will blink until it is completely heated up. So you know exactly when it's ready to go when it heats up to 900° F. There is a temperature adjustment knob, so just depending on your application, you can control allll of that!

The whole unit contains a 3ft cord, so plenty of reach for anything you need to do, a fine tip point, chisel tip, solder coil, and cleaning sponge. All that is right there on the unit which is awesome!

Even though this is battery powered, which could be a life savor, you do have the option to plug it to an outlet for unlimited runtime. For us, having it battery powered is a dream. Just not having to worry about that cord and where you can put it close to the wall is super nice.
