We just can never get enough shop storage. It seems like every time we turn around there's tools and boxes everywhere that don't have a home. Well not anymore! We recently rolled in the Husky 46" 9 Drawer Mobile Workbench with a Solid Wood Top. We've never had a Husky workbench before, and we can tell you that it's the best decision ever! The drawers are 24.5 in depth, which creates 36% more storage capacity than traditional 18 in. deep units. We have been filling these up with all the miscellaneous tools and jigs around the shop. 

The folks at The Container store reached out to us few months ago to see if we’d be interested in checking out their newest addition to their product line, Gladiator, as well as a long time favorite, The Elfa Shelving System. We sent the size of the area where we could use more storage over to the container store’s in house designer. Their design included cabinet storage as well as an entire wall unit with shelving. We decided to install the system ourselves, but The Container Store does offer an installation service if you prefer that. 

This week we are taking on a Miter Saw Station build! We are using shop stands from Rockler with casters, so we are still able to roll the entire station around the shop for cleaning purposes, or if we change up the layout. This station works the best for our best and our storage needs!

I love to have a clean shop. We are both so much more productive when everything is clean and put in its place. The Makita 18V Vacuum Kit works absolute wonders for keeping the shop floor clean.
